Charlotte FC's Wilfried Zaha will miss tonight's game versus the Seattle Sounders

According to sources, Wilfried Zaha did not travel with Charlotte FC to Seattle for tonight's week one matchup. His wife is expecting so Zaha will stay back and miss tonight's fixture.

The highly anticipated MLS debut of the former Premier League star will have to wait until the home opener at the earliest.

Charlotte's attacking depth will now be tested early as Iuri Tavares, Kerwin Vargas, and Tyger Smalls are his likely replacements on the left wing. Pep Biel could also see his role change to winger as was the case towards the end of the 2024 season.
