Charlotte FC set to sign left back Jere Uronen for 2.5 Years

Charlotte FC are finalizing a deal for signing Finnish left back Jere Uronen from Stade Brestois in Ligue 1. He is reportedly signing a two-and-a-half-year deal with Charlotte FC. Uronen was signed by Brest in 2021 where he made 23 appearances. In January he was loaned to Bundesliga side Schalke 04. At Schalke, Uronen made 11 Bundesliga appearances including nine starts to finish their campaign. Uronen also has 63 caps for the Finnish National Team.

Uronen is a proven veteran who likely slots directly into Charlotte FC's starting XI at left back. He has experience at both the international level as well as multiple years of experience playing in some of the best leagues in Europe.
