As the summer windows open up and the international tournaments shine spotlights on players, the rumor mill is going to be whirring. Charlotte FC has stated that they want to add a striker this summer, but that does not mean they won't be interested in adding other pieces if the right opportunity presents itself.

Here are three players from the Euros whose contracts are expiring this summer and who could be on the move:

Adrien Rabiot (29) - CM

Rabiot is likely going to find himself a move in Europe. This past year, he was getting regular minutes with Juventus and is a key part of the French National Team. He is likely still too high-profile a player for MLS, but making a profile signing like this at his age would signify massive progress for how MLS teams can compete in transfer windows.

Memphis Depay (30) - CF

Depay is one of this summer's free agents who has already been circulating on social media in the rumor mill as a candidate to come to MLS. At 30 he should still have plenty of goals left and would slot in as an immediate impact player anywhere in the US. He struggled to earn regular minutes in Madrid, partially due to injuries, so a fresh start may be what he's looking for.

Yusuf Yazici (27) - AM

Yazici went to Lille on a big transfer fee back in 2019. Since then he has been loaned out multiple times and has never solidified regular minutes in Ligue 1. The 2023/24 season was his strongest in France with 12 goals and four assists in all competitions. This is a longshot option as he is a player still in his prime, but he fits the type of profile that Charlotte could be targeting to improve their attack in midfield.
